No additional national provisions.
Since devolution was introduced in 1999, England, Scotland and Wales have separate legislation. Northern Ireland has had
separate legislation for many years.
Legislation is published by the Stationery Office Limited under the authority of the Office of Public Sector (OPSI). Legislation
issued since 1997 is also published, free-of-charge, on the OPSI website at
http://www.opsi.gov.uk
Most legislation is made under the powers of the Food Safety Act 1990, in Great Britain the Food Safety (Northern Ireland)
Order 1991, in Northern Ireland. The ceramics regulations, which apply across the UK, are made under the Consumer
Protection Act 1987.
